Memorable programs, memorable people

Let Us Not Shorten the Days Left for Our Earth!

“Climate change means science for adults and survival for children”, as János quoted in his inauguration speech the thought of the German youth, Felix Finkbeiner, who at age nine launched an environmental movement. The exhibition “Our melting future” awaits visitors in the Hungarian Museum of Natural Sciences until 2. July, with wonderful photographs, presenting endangered polar animals. These meaningful images were taken by Tibor Kércz and Csaba Komáromi, nature photographers, during their research journeys to the North and South Poles. The photos speak for themselves: they remind us all of our shared responsibility. I will definitely come back to this exhibition with my high school student daughter, who is also interested in nature photography and in the future of life and the environment.
